Physiotherapy
Restoring mobility, enhancing life.
01
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy applies evidence based assessments and treatments to manage acute (recent) injuries and chronic conditions, prevent injuries, and promote health and wellbeing. We understand that pain and injuries are often multi-faceted and we implement a whole body approach to address the areas of concern. Through movement, hands on treatment, and proper goal setting we aim to restore function and promote improved quality of life. Injuries happen, it’s how we respond to them that is important!
02
Pelvic Floor Rehab
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy is the treatment and management of Pelvic Floor dysfunction. We recognize the importance of managing this dysfunction to allow patients to live to their fullest and will provide individually tailored treatments for perinatal and postnatal care, fecal and urinary incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, pelvic pain conditions, pelvic organ prolapse and post surgical pelvic floor rehab.
03
Neuro-Functional Acupuncture
Neuro-functional acupuncture can be used as a complementary treatment to Physiotherapy to promote healing and pain management. Using a whole body approach, acupuncture assessments will identify movement dysfunction and create a blueprint to target those dysfunctions. This innovative approach enhances the body's natural healing abilities, providing relief from pain, optimizing function, and promoting overall well-being.
04
Post-Surgical Rehab
Physiotherapy is an important part of post surgical rehabilitation to help you gain range of motion, get stronger and return to sport and daily activities. Physiotherapists will work within the plan outlined by your surgical team and help guide you through your rehab to optimize your recovery and prevent re-injury.
05
A Whole-Body Approach
Treating an injury is about treating the person and not just the pain. It’s important to take into account all the biomechanical, psychological and physiological factors which can impact a patient's pain and recovery. We understand that patients are more than their injury, and that treating the injury means treating the person.
